About Michael
I work with neurodiverse teens and young adults who benefit from consistent support, structure, and encouragement as they build confidence and independence.
My approach is relationship-based and practical. I focus on helping individuals develop daily routines, life skills, and greater confidence navigating the world around them. This can include everything from engaging activities and community outings to support with organization, emotional regulation, and everyday responsibilities.
I have experience supporting individuals in mental health and treatment settings, including work as a behavioral technician and facilitating DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills groups. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in emotional regulation, communication skills, and helping people develop tools that support independence over time.
I bring a calm, steady presence and genuinely enjoy building trusting relationships. My goal is always to meet each person where they are while encouraging growth, curiosity, and confidence.
I tend to connect especially well with young people who are:
• Creative, thoughtful, and sensitive
• Navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or big feelings
• Needing support with structure, routine, and organization
• Building independence and confidence in everyday life
• Looking for a steady adult presence who is patient, respectful, and encouraging
I strive to create a supportive and affirming environment where each young person feels respected for who they are and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
